What draws me to Lina Pigadioti's work is the way she is able to create aesthetically beautiful and balanced artworks, that also invite and challenge the viewer. Audiences are immediately intrigued by the different elements making up each collage. Created from a variety of printed media either found or created by the artist, the collages will give you just a snapshot of Pigadioti's life, thoughts and artistic process. However, the pieces fit together harmoniously with a beautiful sense of composition and balance, not often achieved in mixed media and collage artworks.
